Every hosting account ships with daily and weekly backups we manage. Still, we recommend taking your own copy now and then, especially before big changes.
What we do for you
- Daily server snapshot (7-day retention).
- Weekly off-site backup (4-week retention).
- On-demand restore via ticket — free.
Downloading your own backup
- Open cPanel → "Files" → "Backup".
- Click "Download a Full Account Backup" for everything, or download files, DB, and email separately.
- Store it somewhere safe (not on the same hosting).
Restoring
If you need to roll back, open a ticket with the date you want to recover. We restore it manually to avoid mistakes. If you only need a single file or DB, we can extract just that part.
Tip: set a monthly reminder to grab a full backup for worst-case scenarios.
