Moving your domain over takes 5-7 days for common TLDs (.com, .net, .org) and a few hours for others. The price includes one year of renewal.
Before you start
- Check the domain is at least 60 days old since last change or registration. This is an ICANN rule —the body that governs domain names— not ours: before those 60 days a domain cannot be transferred anywhere.
- Unlock it at the current registrar ("Transfer Lock: OFF").
- Request the EPP/Auth Code — it'll be sent to the admin contact email.
- Make sure that email works; you'll get a confirmation during the process.
Starting the transfer
- Log into your client area → Domains → Transfer a domain.
- Enter the domain and EPP code.
- Pay the renewal (adds 1 year to current expiry).
After
You'll get an email from the registry asking for approval. Approve fast to speed things up. Meanwhile, your site and email keep working — the transfer only moves the registration, not the services.
