Setting up custom DNS Print

  • 0

By default your domain points to our DNS (dns1.goservix.com / dns2.goservix.com), which covers 99% of cases. But sometimes you want to use Cloudflare, Google DNS, or another provider.

Changing nameservers

  1. Client area → Domains → My Domains.
  2. Click the domain → "Nameservers".
  3. Pick "Use custom nameservers" and paste the new ones.
  4. Save. Propagation: usually 1-4h, up to 24h in slow cases.

Editing specific records (keeping our DNS)

If you stay on our DNS but want to tweak records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT), use "DNS Management" in the same panel.

Common cases

  • SPF (Gmail, Workspace): v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
  • Google verification: TXT with the code they give you.
  • Pointing to a VPS or external service: A record to the IP they share.

If you're unsure, open a ticket telling us what you want to achieve and we'll help with the right record.
