It's the most common question and the answer is simple. When you first sign up, many services come with a promotional welcome price for the first term. At renewal, the service moves to its standard price.
Why we do it this way: we want to make it easy to get started, without giving up on providing a service that holds up over the long run. The renewal price is what keeps your site fast, your support personal and your backups current.
Where to always check your real price:
- In your client area, under Services, each service shows its renewal amount and the next due date.
- On the product page in the store, we show the renewal price right next to the promotional one.
The free domain: if your plan included a free domain for the first year, from the second year the domain renews at its usual price. It's separate from the hosting.
If you want to manage costs before renewal, you have room to: switch plans, turn off auto-renewal, or cancel ahead of time. And if an invoice doesn't add up, open a Billing ticket and we'll go through it with you, no rush.
