Your website in several languages (multi-language) Print

  • 0

Your website can be served in several languages at once for its visitors. You ask for it in the builder chat, with phrases like «translate the website into English» or «add the Catalan language».

What it does exactly

  • Your website gets a language selector in the header (also on mobile).
  • Each language has its own addresses (for example /en/) and proper SEO (hreflang), so Google shows each visitor their version.
  • Legal pages come out in each language with their own templates.

The golden rule: you only edit the main version

You ALWAYS work on your website's main language. Translations regenerate automatically with every change you make — they are never edited by hand. That way no version ends up telling a different story from the others.

If a translation cannot be updated in one pass, your website serves the previous version of that language and we tell you (also before publishing). Saying «update the translations» retries it.

What it costs

Adding a language costs a few credits once (it depends on the size of your website; the assistant gives you the exact figure and asks for confirmation BEFORE charging). After that, every change you make is translated automatically for ~1 credit per language. Removing a language («remove English») is free.

Availability

Multi-language is a Pro plan capability, with up to 3 languages besides the main one. If what you want is your whole website in ANOTHER single language, that works on any plan: ask «change the website language to…».
