Updating your website's design Print

  • 0

At GoServix we're constantly improving the library of design blocks the builder uses to generate websites: better headers, better galleries, more care on mobile. But one rule never bends: your site never changes on its own. Your design only changes when you decide it does.

How to update your design

  1. Open your project in the builder. When improvements are available, an “Update design” button appears next to your project tools. If you can't see it, your site is already up to date.
  2. Click it. A new version of your site is created with the updated design.
  3. Take your time reviewing it in the preview: nothing is published on its own. You decide whether that version goes live.
  4. If you're not convinced, restore the previous version from the History. Nothing is ever lost.

Updating the design doesn't use any credits, so you can try it, have a proper look and go back as many times as you need.

And if you'd already published your site, there are no surprises either: if republishing would change how it looks, we'll tell you beforehand. If you're not sure what changed, or you'd rather we had a look with you, open a ticket and we'll go through it.
